Location
Right next to the Old Bridge, on the Neuenheim side of the Neckar, on the picturesque Ziegelhäuser Landstraße, with a view of the Heidelberg Castle – there is probably no better location for a hotel in Heidelberg. The Heidelberg Suites are centrally located near to Heidelberg’s landmarks and, due to the exclusive neighborhood, far away from the big tourist streams of the Old Town.
Directions
From Heidelberg main station you can reach the luxury hotel comfortably by public transport (direct connection with bus 34, bus stop only a few meters from the hotel) and also with your own car or a taxi you will find your way relatively quickly to the hotel’s own parking lot. The Ziegelhäuser Landstraße can get crowded during rush hours, but otherwise it is very pleasant and you will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of Heidelberg. 
Neighborhood
The neighborhood of the Heidelberg Suites is characterised by the luxury villas of Neuenheim. This exclusive location with a view of the Old Town and Castle is probably something only few people can ever afford, but accordingly, there are many historic old buildings to admire. Right next to the hotel is Heidelberg College, a private high school for children of financially strong parents. If you cross the Ziegelhäuser Landstraße, you are immediately on the promenade - only one stairway above the ideal viewpoint for THE Heidelberg photo per se: Neckar - Old Bridge - Castle. 
I don’t know how many times I have seen this motive or photographed it myself, but it never loses its very own magic. On the stone benches set into the hillside, you can perfectly relax in summer and simply enjoy life. Those who prefer more luxury can book a table on the Heidelberg Patria, the own restaurant ship of the Heidelberg Suites. Furthermore, there are many of my favorite places in Heidelberg’s Old Town in the direct neighborhood, e.g. the Snake Path up to the Philosophers’ Path and on to the Thingstätte.
The Hotel
Heidelberg Suites is a boutique hotel and one of two members of the Small Luxury Hotels Of The World in Heidelberg. Compared to the ancient and historical Hirschgasse, the Heidelberg Suites offer a more modern style - designed by German and Italian (interior) architects. Luxury hotels often come up with a lot of pomposity and knickknacks, and the Suites also do not entirely avoid it, but keep it at a bearable level.

ArtHotel Heidelberg
In front of the library, there are many bikes and cars and also the bus passes the hotel from the university square. The Schlossberg Tunnel, through which many cars find their way every day, ends a few meters above the ArtHotel. But due to the reason that the hotel is not located right at the adjoining street Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage, one only sometimes hears a loud motorcycle.
Europäischer Hof Heidelberg
The volume of the road should not be a problem inside the hotel. By turning into the forecourt, the hotel is arranged like an own little bay around the court. Thus, there are barely any windows that point straight to the street. Already in the lobby, despite the glass doors, one barely hears anything of the hustle and bustle that takes place in front of the entrance.
Holländer Hof Heidelberg
Almost as close is the well-known pedestrian zone, the Hauptstraße. If one takes one of the side streets beside the hotel to the Hauptstraße, one also walks straight to the Church of the Holy Spirit and the market place. Thus, if one has this hotel as a place to stay in Heidelberg, one can very quickly tick the first sightseeings on his list.
