First option is taking highway A5 and driving to junction "Kreuz Heidelberg". Change here to highway A656, driving in direction of "Heidelberg". Second option is taking highway A6 until reaching junction "Kreuz Mannheim". Change here to highway A656, driving in direction of "Heidelberg". A couple of kilometers before reaching the city, highway A656 is heading into a street. There you'll find an option for two directions. One is heading to the railway station and downtown, which is named "Bahnhof/Altstadt, Bergheim". The other is heading to "Neckar/Neuenheim".

Tip1: There's a speed limit if you're reaching the end of the highway. Mind the limits to 70 km/h first and 50 km/h in the very end of the highway. If you don't mind, the first photo of yourself in Heidelberg will be taken by one of the installed speed cameras.

Tip2: Better use public transportation for travelling to Heidelberg. Although there are several opportunities for parking, you will have a crowded situation in downtown on holidays and weekends, as well as during the events of castle illumination (Schlossbeleuchtung) and Old Town Autumn Festival (Heidelberger Herbst).
