Sights in Heidelberg
The castle of Heidelberg is always fascinating visitors from all over the world. This is because you can feel the exciting history of the Palatine electors within the old walls of the castle. Going through the ruins of the old "Ruprechtsbau" or the old library, marvelling at the blowed up tower "Krautturm" or enjoying the Renaissance façades of the "Ottheinrichsbau" and the "Friedrichsbau", all buildings testify to past, exciting and eventful centuries.
There are guided tours visiting the various interior rooms of the castle. These tours are offered in German and English, other languages are possible by appointment.
